Here’s an interesting article about local fisherman Justinus Lahama who caught a prehistoric fish one day and decided than rather than to notify the press or call up a museum that instead he’d feed his carnal instincts and get a restaurant to cook it for him not realising that this rare species is almost extinct. (Un)fortunately for the fish, he died after spending 17 hours in the restaurant fish tank. Experts have examined the fish and identified it as being such a rare type of Coelacanth, that it hadn’t been identified yet .. too bad the fish isn’t even edible . . .
