So today’s a big day for Comic Book fans, the day where we finally get to see The Green Lantern in all of his CGI glory. At first look, it looks quite alright, a similar feeling to how I got when I first saw the Iron Man 2 trailer. Let me know what you think of this DC production scheduled for release June 17, 2011.

The Bi-Annual London MCM Expo hit the London Excel Centre again this month after having their most successful Expo to date earlier in May (2010). The first impressions from this newest Expo date is that they’ve made things bigger. Much much bigger. In terms of the exhibition halls, the event definitely looked a lot larger with the hiring of more floor space and hence more stalls. This made it not only much easier to navigate the larger hall but meant that weaving the crowds was actually possible without being impaled by a foam spear (+5).
Amongst the usual artists and cosplayers to hit the floor was the addition of many highly anticipated video games. Without a doubt the two stars on the gaming front were Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Both I might add were definite must plays in my eyes along with the PlayStation Move and the new Rock Band 3.
Celebrity appearances were slim pickings this time around with only three faces that I could recognise being Glen Morshower, John De Lancie and Tony Todd. A much larger stage this time around was present for Japan Ex as well as a rather humorous FWA wrestling presence at the Expo.
Anyways I’ve posted up some of the pictures I’ve taken from my Nikon D70, and although I had quite a few of the same problems as the last photo set with noise etc, some of the photos turned out ok. As always click the image to maximise and feel free to send this page around =].
