I love Battlestar Galactica. I’ve watched every episode of the reboot from start to finish almost twice over and maintain that it’s one of the best science fiction dramas on television. However if I wanted to watch it for the third time I could get this pirated Chinese DVD Box set.
Firstly you’re gonna have to open that image above this text to it’s full size to really appreciate the brilliance of the marketing used here. Battlestar Galactica, the series depicting mankind’s struggle for survival against the advancing armies of the Cyclons, is here described as “A Good-hearted Tween Comedy” as well as having “A Saw-like Twist At The End”. Has that ever been considered a must have to be a hit show? The same could also be said about “Tween Comedy”.
Note: Does the USS Enterprise appear halfway through with Picard steamrolling his way through Cylon battle cruisers as maybe suggested by the front cover? (Hint: No he does not).
Also I hadn’t noticed this before but there also appears to be a Stargate behind the cast on the front cover. Classic.
