HDR photography has really taken off in the last couple of years with DSLR’s and other consumer cameras importing this feature. Apple recently even added this feature to the iOS 4.1 update and well guess what, Soviet Montage have created the first HDR video. Trust me, it’s incredible.
If you don’t know what it is, it’s basically the process of creating three images. The first is under exposed, the second is under normal exposure and the third is over exposed. Then it’s post-processed and combined to create this High Dynamic Range photo. Now Soviet Montage have combined two Canon 5D Mark II’s into creating the world’s first High Dynamic Range Video.
