London Film and Comic Con 2010

London Film and Comic Con 2010. This was the first year in which I attended and I must say, the organisers Show Masters, put on a very good and well organised event for geeks and alternative entertainment fans alike. So enclosed in this post are some of my favourite photos from this years London Comic Con.

Just to note that the orangey hue in the photos was really hard to take out so I gave up on 90% of them. The orange glow really didn’t help the lens to focus either, but anyways, got some nice shots. Some of the highlights of the day involve seeing the Tumbler Batmobile from the last two Batman films as well as hearing from great anecdotes from Katee Sackhoff about Battlestar Galactica, notably the awkward sex scene …

Also the most notable mentions of people who are missing are Mike Tyson, William Shatner and Kristanna Loken. The first two because they were fenced off in a special area and required a gigantic wad of cash to be put down before you could see them and the third well, she must have just been on a very very long lunch break today. But trust me .. if I could have gotten a snap of Mike Tyson and The Shatner then I clearly would’ve.

Hope you enjoy the selection of just some of the 200+ photos I took from the convention this year. Click to enlarge the photos, they’ve all been shrunk down to fit the post page:

Trust me, I have like 30 shots of this car alone …

Cosplayer in an Okami Wolf suit literally walked into my groin then posed for a photo.

Why do I feel like playing some Street Fighter music in the background

Go Go Power Rangers. Yup. They’re still around evidently.

And so that’s all for this years London Film and Comic Con 2010. I had a great time here with many things to take away from the event. Hopefully all of you had did manage to go had an equally as enjoyable time as I did and for those you who didn’t and are interesting, should be looking to go to the MCM Expo later on in 2010.
